This Lightweight Wool Bedding Set combines a reduced-fill wool comforter with the mill’s regular wool mattress topper and size-appropriate sleeping pillows. Climate Beneficial™ wool and certified organic cotton run through all three layers, while the lighter comforter keeps the top of the bed less weighty for warm rooms and people who sleep hot. The topper still provides approximately 2½ inches of cushioning before compression, so the set lightens the covering without stripping the bed of its underlying comfort.

Care & Ownership
Comforter and topper: hand wash in lukewarm or cold water with a mild wool-safe detergent. Do not agitate. Line dry or air dry completely; do not machine wash, tumble dry, or apply heat. Pillow: fluff regularly, refresh outdoors in sunlight from time to time, and spot clean only. Frankenmuth Woolen Mill also accepts its bedding back for professional care.

Frankenmuth Woolen Mill has made wool bedding since 1894. Today the historic American mill still washes and air-dries its Climate Beneficial™ wool, cards it on century-old machinery, and finishes bedding by hand between layers of certified organic cotton. More than a century of practice is visible in the construction itself: natural fibers, hand-tied batting, and a process designed to keep useful bedding in service for years.
