Lions and Crown Coat of Arms Bronze Wall Sculpture
Two upright lions flank a plain shield beneath a crown in this bronze wall sculpture. Curled foliage at the foot of the shield balances the open spaces around the animals, giving the heraldic composition depth without a solid rectangular background. The brown-patinated casting is a decorative reproduction with a traditional coat-of-arms motif.
“I would let the crest stand alone on a small stretch of wall, where the spaces between the lions and shield can cast their own shadows.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Dust with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster. If needed, gently clean the bronze with mild dish soap and water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. To maintain the patina, apply a very thin coat of nonabrasive, neutral-colored paste wax to the bronze, allow it to haze and buff gently; annual waxing is generally sufficient for indoor display. Never use shoe polish or abrasive metal cleaners. Use wall fixings appropriate to the wall construction and the sculpture’s 9 lb weight; check that the fixing is secure before hanging.
Maker / Heritage
Founded in 2012, Bronzhaus is a family-owned business on Long Island, New York. It commissions new castings and sources directly from artists and manufacturers, bringing together contemporary designs and reproductions of familiar sculptural subjects. Its bronzes are hot cast using the lost-wax process, with hand-poured metal capturing the modeled detail. Patinated surfaces and small differences from casting to casting give these pieces their individual character.
