Lybra Crystal Wine Decanter by Vista Alegre
A long neck, rounded base and matching stopper give the Lybra crystal wine decanter its distinctive profile. The clear, undecorated form brings another silhouette to the wine service, with an approximately 40.6 US fl. oz. capacity for serving at the table.
“I’m drawn to the long line of this decanter beside a cluster of stemmed glasses. It gives the wine service a presence of its own, particularly on a sideboard set for an evening with friends.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

CARE & OWNERSHIP
Give the decanter a little preparation before its first use: fill it with equal parts room-temperature water and vinegar, leave for 24 hours, then rinse well. After serving, handwash gently with warm water and a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and let the inside dry. Store without the stopper so air can circulate. Avoid abrasive cleaners, very hot water and sudden temperature changes, and keep it out of the dishwasher, microwave and oven.
MAKER / HERITAGE
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings two centuries of decorative knowledge to the art of setting a table and furnishing a home. Its porcelain tradition combines technical precision with artistic work, including a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected pieces; crystal and glass extend that vocabulary into the bar and the room beyond. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron keep the house’s heritage in conversation with contemporary life. The result is a breadth of patterns, forms and disciplines from which to build a service or collection with lasting personal character.
