Machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry on low, removing the shams promptly. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. A low-temperature iron may be used when you prefer the border more defined. When making the bed, alternate or reverse the shams occasionally so both sides remain part of the arrangement rather than treating one as merely the back.
