Margão Blue and White Porcelain Covered Vase by Vista Alegre
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Margão’s covered porcelain vase carries cobalt-blue botanical decoration across a tall, shaped body. Its pointed lid and small side details give the blue-and-white piece a distinct ornamental silhouette.
“I would give this tall vase enough space above the lid, so its whole outline can be appreciated rather than tucked beneath a shelf.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings a living decorative tradition to the table. Its porcelain is glazed, fired and individually checked before decoration; the factory also maintains a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected artistic pieces. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron give that long history fresh expression, from finely drawn botanicals to architectural relief. It is this combination of technical care and imaginative decoration that gives the maker its distinctive range.
