Maria Cloud Grey Linen Placemat by COSTA NOVA - 14.57 × 18.5 in.
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The Maria linen placemat in Cloud Grey defines one place on the table with a soft rectangle of natural fabric. Its plain weave provides a calm background for both floral and undecorated plates. Made from 100% linen, the placemat is sold individually.
“I would leave a little visible linen around the plate, letting the placemat define the setting without crowding it with extra objects.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Machine wash with similar colors at no more than 104°F. Do not bleach or dry clean. Tumble dry on low and remove promptly, gently stretching the fabric back into shape. Iron while slightly damp on a medium setting, up to 300°F. Smooth and fold only once the linen is completely dry; store in a dry, ventilated space.
Maker / Heritage
COSTA NOVA belongs to the Portuguese Grestel group, whose ceramics production began in Vagos in 1998. Its fine stoneware brings together natural clay and minerals, contemporary production and the work of people who shape, decorate and finish the pieces by hand. The collections use those processes differently: Beja takes its cue from traditional enameled tableware, Alentejo from the landscape and decorative character of its namesake region, and Vila from Portuguese floral decoration. The same design house extends its table setting to materials such as linen and oak, with the construction and care specified separately for each item.
