Mona Butter Yellow Scalloped Cotton Placemat by Inner Child
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Pink flowers scatter across the butter-yellow cotton of this Mona placemat. A scalloped embroidered edge frames the setting, bringing a sunny ground and a gentle botanical scale to a plain dining surface.
“Butter yellow can warm a table without a large centerpiece. I would add one deeper pink detail, perhaps a flower, and leave the remaining china and glass uncomplicated.”

Maker / Heritage
Inner Child began in New York in 2024 with Michelle Pham's belief that practical objects deserve color and imagination. Her parents, Vietnamese refugees who made things out of necessity, passed on the resourcefulness and design flair behind that outlook. The studio works in small batches with multigenerational artisan families and its own workshop teams, keeping the human variation of handwork visible. Its blockprint collection includes cloth printed by an eighth-generation family in Jaipur, using blocks carved by specialist makers. From those repeated impressions to the flowing patterns of hand marbling, the attraction is the craft within an object made to take part in everyday life.
