A narrow, worn elm top and splayed legs give these benches their plainly worked character. The small proportions make them distinctive as display pieces along a wall or at the foot of a bed, where a single vessel or a few books can sit within the long outline.
Small, Medium and Large are available within the dimensional ranges below. Wear, irregularity and missing rungs may be present. Each piece varies, and the photographs show examples of that individual character.

Care & Ownership
Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or a soft brush, taking care around worn edges, old joints and any missing rungs. Keep the bench in a dry indoor position, away from heaters, strong sunlight and prolonged dampness. Protect the top beneath decorative vessels, and lift the whole piece carefully when moving it. Do not pull at loose timber or treat the uneven surface with abrasive cleaners or heavy polishing.
Maker / Heritage
Canggu Home grew from a family’s search for rooms with a quieter, more natural character. A visit to artisan workshops in Canggu, Bali, inspired the family’s approach in 2021, followed by direct sourcing from makers in China, Indonesia and Africa. The business is a curator: its interest is in material, workmanship and the way a piece belongs in a room. Visible grain, hand-worked irregularity and plainly expressed forms are part of that choice, with Japanese and Scandinavian influences brought together through texture rather than elaborate decoration.
