Ornament Porcelain Dessert Plates by Vista Alegre - Set of 4
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Ornament’s porcelain dessert plates use raised white decoration to frame the final course. Offered as four, they bring Sam Baron’s architectural design to cakes, fruit and plated desserts, adding texture to the setting as well as a place for the food.
“I can picture these plates with a berry tart on a summer evening, the raised white border joining the folds of the linen. Texture can be as engaging at the table as color.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

MAKER / HERITAGE
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings two centuries of decorative knowledge to the art of setting a table and furnishing a home. Its porcelain tradition combines technical precision with artistic work, including a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected pieces; crystal and glass extend that vocabulary into the bar and the room beyond. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron keep the house’s heritage in conversation with contemporary life. The result is a breadth of patterns, forms and disciplines from which to build a service or collection with lasting personal character.
