Ornament Porcelain Large Oval Platter by Vista Alegre
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Ornament’s large oval porcelain platter gives a shared main course an expansive white setting. Sam Baron’s raised decoration follows the border, keeping the serving surface clear within an architectural frame.
“This is the generous oval I imagine bringing to the table for a shared main course. The white relief could belong to a richly colored holiday setting or a lunch laid with garden flowers.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

MAKER / HERITAGE
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings two centuries of decorative knowledge to the art of setting a table and furnishing a home. Its porcelain tradition combines technical precision with artistic work, including a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected pieces; crystal and glass extend that vocabulary into the bar and the room beyond. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron keep the house’s heritage in conversation with contemporary life. The result is a breadth of patterns, forms and disciplines from which to build a service or collection with lasting personal character.
