Ornament Porcelain Sauceboat and Stand by Vista Alegre
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Ornament’s porcelain sauceboat and matching stand give a shared sauce a considered place on the table. The white relief links the pouring form to Sam Baron’s larger collection of architectural tableware.
“A sauceboat and stand are a useful little partnership. At my imagined Sunday table, they would let guests choose their own helping while keeping the sauce close to the main dish.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

MAKER / HERITAGE
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings two centuries of decorative knowledge to the art of setting a table and furnishing a home. Its porcelain tradition combines technical precision with artistic work, including a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected pieces; crystal and glass extend that vocabulary into the bar and the room beyond. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron keep the house’s heritage in conversation with contemporary life. The result is a breadth of patterns, forms and disciplines from which to build a service or collection with lasting personal character.
