Ornament Porcelain Sugar Bowl by Vista Alegre
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Ornament’s covered porcelain sugar bowl puts a small rounded lid above a relief-decorated body. The white-on-white pattern brings Sam Baron’s architectural language to one of the tea tray’s smallest pieces.
“The small domed lid gives this sugar bowl a particularly composed outline. I’m drawn to it as the little architectural detail on a tea tray full of flowers, cups and afternoon possibilities.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

MAKER / HERITAGE
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings two centuries of decorative knowledge to the art of setting a table and furnishing a home. Its porcelain tradition combines technical precision with artistic work, including a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected pieces; crystal and glass extend that vocabulary into the bar and the room beyond. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron keep the house’s heritage in conversation with contemporary life. The result is a breadth of patterns, forms and disciplines from which to build a service or collection with lasting personal character.
