Ornament Porcelain Tureen by Vista Alegre
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The Ornament porcelain tureen makes a shared soup course part of Sam Baron’s architectural design. A covered white body, squared handles and raised decoration create a substantial but quietly colored serving piece.
“A white tureen can connect an entire table of different colors. I imagine this one at the center of a shared meal, its relief joining the pattern of the linen and the movement of the flowers.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

MAKER / HERITAGE
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings two centuries of decorative knowledge to the art of setting a table and furnishing a home. Its porcelain tradition combines technical precision with artistic work, including a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected pieces; crystal and glass extend that vocabulary into the bar and the room beyond. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron keep the house’s heritage in conversation with contemporary life. The result is a breadth of patterns, forms and disciplines from which to build a service or collection with lasting personal character.
