Care & Ownership

Remove the insert before cleaning the sham and follow each piece’s sewn-in care label separately. Treat the cotton cover gently with cool water and mild detergent; protect the embroidery or appliqué from rubbing, reshape while damp and air-dry. Do not assume the feather/down insert has the same washing instructions as the cover. Air and fluff the insert regularly, keep it dry, and follow its own label for laundering.

Maker / Heritage

Claudia Garrard knew Dina Yang’s work first as a retailer, choosing her pieces for her own customers. A visit to Dina’s Fort Worth warehouse led to their partnership: Claudia brings the shopkeeper’s eye, while Dina oversees production in her Vietnamese sewing room. Dina established that workshop in 2001 with four sewing machines and two patternmakers. Their close collaboration gives Lenora its unusually personal connection between design and making.
