Care & Ownership
Empty the leaves soon after brewing and rinse the filter from the outside to release trapped pieces. Hand-wash with mild dish soap and a soft brush as needed, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry fully. Avoid abrasive pads that can damage the fine mesh.

John Harney learned tea blending from Stanley Mason while managing the White Hart Inn in Salisbury, Connecticut, before founding Harney & Sons in 1983. The family’s approach joins close attention to tea origins with an enthusiasm for creating new blends. Mike Harney’s experience tasting fine wine helped shape his attention to a tea’s aroma, body and finish; Paul helped bring the company’s blends into its signature sachets. That combination makes exploring the collection feel personal rather than formal.
