Pheasant Pewter Salt and Pepper Shakers by Vagabond House - Set of 2
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Sculpted beaks and detailed plumage give this pair of pewter pheasant shakers their character. The low bird forms bring the collection's woodland subjects to the salt and pepper, making a practical addition to a seasonal or everyday table.
“At a long table, I prefer seasonings within easy reach. Several small pairs can make that practical decision decorative, without sending one shaker on a long journey.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Handle sculpted stems, tails and other fine details gently.
Maker / Heritage
Vagabond House began in 1986 by turning antique silver tableware into jewelry and table accents. The Haas and Hardy families focused the company on tableware after acquiring it in 2004, and three generations now contribute to the Sierra Madre, California business. Its designers look closely at nature, old architecture and antiques, then work with carvers, artisans and fabricators to bring those ideas into useful objects. In the pewter work, details such as the veins of an oak leaf or the textured skin of a pear are carved and polished into the form. That attention to small, recognizable things gives the pieces much of their character at the table.
