Store the bag in a dry place away from heat, open flame, children and pets. Use a small amount to start a fire in a suitable fireplace, stove or fire pit, following the appliance’s directions. Never add liquid accelerants or handle burning sticks.

Founded in Woodstock, Vermont, in 2012, Farmhouse Pottery brings a working potter’s eye to everyday housewares. Founder James Zilian’s training in ceramics and years designing for Simon Pearce inform the restrained shapes; English studio pottery and the Japanese idea of wabi-sabi inform an affection for visible process and small variations. The signature Silo forms take their lines from Vermont’s farm silos, pairing white glaze with revealed clay. From that starting point, the collection extends into complementary tools and textiles, chosen to make a useful, tactile whole at home.
