Pomegranate Stoneware Tea and Coffee Service by Vagabond House - 5-Piece Creamer and Sugar Set

Pewter pomegranates decorate the tray and covered sugar bowl of this white stoneware creamer service. The pitcher, bowl, lid, spoon and tray form a five-piece set, with the fruit's sculpted seeds and leaves giving the arrangement its detail.

“A few real pomegranates would make my connection to an autumn table. Their color can echo the sculpted fruit while the white stoneware keeps the coffee service light.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage

Vagabond House began in 1986 by turning antique silver tableware into jewelry and table accents. The Haas and Hardy families focused the company on tableware after acquiring it in 2004, and three generations now contribute to the Sierra Madre, California business. Its designers look closely at nature, old architecture and antiques, then work with carvers, artisans and fabricators to bring those ideas into useful objects. In the pewter work, details such as the veins of an oak leaf or the textured skin of a pear are carved and polished into the form. That attention to small, recognizable things gives the pieces much of their character at the table.
