With its elongated oval silhouette and finely fluted surface, the Primula vase gives clear glass a wonderfully architectural presence. Light gathers in the grooves, changing the character of the vessel throughout the day. At 6.9 inches high, its gently spreading shape is particularly suited to a low arrangement of flowers, flowering branches cut short, or a simple collection of stems. The transparency keeps the arrangement in view, while the mouth-blown glass gives the form its particular liveliness.
