Reclaimed Elm Four Drawer and Four Door Cabinet from Canggu Home
Special Order: This is a special-order item with an estimated lead time of 4 to 8 weeks. As it is prepared exclusively for you, it is considered final sale and cannot be returned.
Four drawers sit above four paneled doors in this reclaimed elm cabinet, making a clear division between smaller items and the shelving below. Ring pulls and repeated frames bring order to the broad front, while the wood retains its own grain and changing tone.
At 59 inches long, the cabinet offers a substantial storage piece without the length of a very large sideboard. The top can hold a lamp or a useful serving arrangement, with the doors given room to open comfortably.
“Good storage can remove small daily frustrations, which is part of its appeal to me. Four drawers for the smaller things and cupboards for the larger pieces give this cabinet a useful internal order without making its front feel complicated.”

Care & Ownership
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth, working gently along the grain. Blot spills immediately and dry the surface fully; use coasters and protective mats beneath hot, cold or wet objects. Avoid harsh cleaners, abrasive pads and prolonged dampness. Keep the piece away from direct sunlight, heaters and strong air vents. Solid wood responds to changes in humidity, so small changes in grain and color are part of its character. Lift furniture when moving it rather than dragging the legs across the floor. Dust inside drawers, shelves and door edges periodically, keeping the interiors dry and avoiding overloading small compartments.
Maker / Heritage
Canggu Home grew from a family’s search for rooms with a quieter, more natural character. A visit to artisan workshops in Canggu, Bali, inspired the family’s approach in 2021, followed by direct sourcing from makers in China, Indonesia and Africa. The business is a curator: its interest is in material, workmanship and the way a piece belongs in a room. Visible grain, hand-worked irregularity and plainly expressed forms are part of that choice, with Japanese and Scandinavian influences brought together through texture rather than elaborate decoration.
