Regina Mouth-Blown White Wine Glass in Clear by Holmegaard — 6.1 fl oz
The Regina white wine glass carries Anja Kjær's expressive design into a slender, clear form. Mouth-blown glass gives the bowl its delicate optical character, and the tall stem lends a pleasing lift to an individual table setting. Originally developed within a royal-anniversary commission, the design has enough presence to stand beside patterned china without competing with it. Each glass is sold individually, making it possible to assemble a matching service over time.
“I find a tall, transparent stem particularly effective when the table includes substantial ceramics. The Regina silhouette lets the stemware introduce height and air between the plates and the flowers. It is the contrast of light glass with a generous table that appeals to me.”
