The Ruffle Edge Abaca Coasters in Green by Joanna Buchanan bring the same natural-fibre ease as the coordinating placemats to a much smaller surface. Handwoven in the Philippines from 100% abaca, each 4-inch coaster combines green and ecru with a ruffled edge that gives glassware a soft, textural frame. The set of four is useful on a drinks tray, bedside table, or summer dining table, and the green makes a particularly easy partner for clear glass, white ceramics, wicker, and garden flowers. Because the pieces are handwoven, slight variation is part of their character rather than a flaw.

Spot clean with a dry brush and do not submerge in water. Blot moisture promptly, allow the fibre to dry fully before stacking, and store the coasters flat so the ruffled edges are not pressed out of shape.
