Running Elk Platinum-Rimmed Bone China Cup and Saucer by Vagabond House
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A running elk motif and platinum edging decorate this bone china cup and saucer. The white eight-fluid-ounce cup sits on a coordinating saucer, extending the woodland dinnerware pattern into coffee or afternoon tea service.
“Coffee feels like a separate course when the table has been cleared. I like the elk appearing again on a fresh cup and saucer at that quieter point in the meal.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Hand wash gently with mild dish soap and a soft sponge, keeping pieces apart in the sink. Rinse and dry promptly, taking care around pewter details and metallic rims. Avoid soaking, abrasives, silver polish, the dishwasher, oven and microwave. Protect from sudden temperature changes and use soft separators when stacking.
Maker / Heritage
Vagabond House began in 1986 by turning antique silver tableware into jewelry and table accents. The Haas and Hardy families focused the company on tableware after acquiring it in 2004, and three generations now contribute to the Sierra Madre, California business. Its designers look closely at nature, old architecture and antiques, then work with carvers, artisans and fabricators to bring those ideas into useful objects. In the pewter work, details such as the veins of an oak leaf or the textured skin of a pear are carved and polished into the form. That attention to small, recognizable things gives the pieces much of their character at the table.
