Running Elk Platinum-Rimmed Bone China Scalloped Dinner Plate by Vagabond House
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A running elk and fine platinum rim give this scalloped bone china dinner plate its lodge-inspired identity. The white center keeps the meal visually clear, while the shaped border carries the decorative detail around the edge of the setting.
“Dark green linen would be my choice beside this white china. It supplies a winter color without competing with the running elk or the scalloped edge.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Hand wash gently with mild dish soap and a soft sponge, keeping pieces apart in the sink. Rinse and dry promptly, taking care around pewter details and metallic rims. Avoid soaking, abrasives, silver polish, the dishwasher, oven and microwave. Protect from sudden temperature changes and use soft separators when stacking.
Maker / Heritage
Vagabond House began in 1986 by turning antique silver tableware into jewelry and table accents. The Haas and Hardy families focused the company on tableware after acquiring it in 2004, and three generations now contribute to the Sierra Madre, California business. Its designers look closely at nature, old architecture and antiques, then work with carvers, artisans and fabricators to bring those ideas into useful objects. In the pewter work, details such as the veins of an oak leaf or the textured skin of a pear are carved and polished into the form. That attention to small, recognizable things gives the pieces much of their character at the table.
