Soho Lucca Hand-Polished Metal Rectangular Tray by Beatriz Ball
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Soho Lucca's gently shaped rim softens the outline of this compact rectangular tray. Hand-polished aluminum alloy gives the shallow surface a silvery gleam, whether it is holding small appetizers or keeping everyday pieces together on a desk. Its 8.5-by-7-inch size is particularly useful where a large serving tray would overwhelm the arrangement.
“For me, a small tray earns its place by gathering the things that otherwise drift across a surface. Lucca has the right contained shape for a few daily essentials, and can be cleared just as easily for appetizers.”

Care & Ownership
Handwash with gentle detergent and a soft sponge, then towel-dry immediately to prevent water spots. Do not leave in standing water or use for prolonged food storage. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and cutting directly on the surface. No routine silver polishing is needed; store clean and dry. Oven-safe to 350°F for warming food; use oven mitts, as metal becomes hot. Never use in a microwave.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
