Solid Brass Desk Easel by Anastasio Home
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The Desk Easel is cast in solid unlacquered brass and offered in two sizes for displaying a small painting, framed photograph, book, or tablet. Its weight gives the object the presence of traditional desk hardware rather than a temporary stand.
“I like an easel on a desk or console because it lets one picture or book become part of the room rather than part of a stack. Brass gives it enough weight to feel permanent even when what it holds changes.”
-Mrs. Mayfair
PRODUCT DETAILS
Material & Finish: Solid unlacquered brass
Hand-finished surface designed to develop character with use
Dimensions: Small: 6 in L × 4.75 in W × 8 in H
Large: 7.75 in L × 4.5 in W × 12.5 in H
Safety & Use: For decorative or dry use only; avoid prolonged exposure to liquids and acidic foods. Handling brass may expose you to trace lead, which California identifies as causing cancer and reproductive harm. The maker uses low-lead brass alloys. See www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
CARE & OWNERSHIP
A soft cloth is usually all that is needed for everyday care. Keep the brass dry and avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive pads. Its unlacquered surface will deepen naturally with time and touch; use a gentle metal cleaner if a brighter finish is preferred.
MAKER / HERITAGE
Anastasio Home is a design studio founded by Gabriela Anastasio. The collection is produced in the brand’s own atelier and foundry in Rajasthan, India, where natural stone is hand-carved and metal is cast and finished by hand. Most stone pieces begin with remnant Indian marble or travertine, so veining, tone, texture, and availability naturally vary from one stone lot to another.
