1826® saw the creation of the world’s first stamped saucepan, manufactured at our factory in Fesches-le-Châtel, France. Nearly two centuries later, this new collection, symbolically named 1826®, takes its inspiration from the past while embodying the modernity, innovation, and passion that drive CRISTEL® every day.
Our 1826® frying pan stands out thanks to its tapered base, paying tribute to the two-hundred-year-old saucepan that gave rise to this collection. It is available in 5 sizes/ diameters: 8“ / 9.50“ / 10“ / 11“ / 12“.
Its induction-compatible, heat-diffusing base in three superimposed layers (induction stainless steel - aluminum - 18/10 stainless steel) guarantees even heat distribution across its entire surface, so you can sear a piece of meat or sauté a medley of vegetables effortlessly, without the need to add fat.
