Thalassa Rattan Console Table by bali & pari
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Braided rattan bands trace the top and open shelf of the Thalassa console table. Flared rattan details at the legs enliven a familiar rectangular form, bringing texture to both the surface and the open space beneath.
“I would keep the lower shelf arrangement low enough to show those flared leg details. The craftsmanship is part of the view, not just the objects placed on it.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Dust regularly with a soft brush or the gentle brush attachment of a vacuum. Wipe marks with a barely damp, soft cloth and dry promptly. Blot spills before they settle into the weave; avoid soaking, abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals. Protect the fibers from standing water, direct heat and prolonged strong sunlight.
Maker / Heritage
The rattan work at bali & pari begins with a material that can be shaped as well as woven. Experienced artisans in Indonesia cut, steam and bend the stems, then weave or arrange them into the finished designs. Those techniques allow a single material to form an open lattice, a tightly worked panel or a braided border. Natural differences in tone and fiber remain visible, giving the handworked pieces their individual character.
