The Thinker Miniature Bronze Sculpture after Rodin - 5 in.
A miniature bronze reproduction of Auguste Rodin’s The Thinker brings the seated figure’s inward concentration to a shelf or desk. The bowed head, hand beneath the chin and rounded shoulders remain legible at just five inches high. The rocky seat and plinth are part of the bronze composition, with a brown patina that emphasizes the modeled surface.
“I like the idea of a small contemplative figure beside books, where it can be discovered at close range rather than lost among larger objects.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Dust with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster. If needed, gently clean the bronze with mild dish soap and water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. To maintain the patina, apply a very thin coat of nonabrasive, neutral-colored paste wax to the bronze, allow it to haze and buff gently; annual waxing is generally sufficient for indoor display. Never use shoe polish or abrasive metal cleaners. Support the full weight when handling and protect the supporting surface.
Maker / Heritage
Founded in 2012, Bronzhaus is a family-owned business on Long Island, New York. It commissions new castings and sources directly from artists and manufacturers, bringing together contemporary designs and reproductions of familiar sculptural subjects. Its bronzes are hot cast using the lost-wax process, with hand-poured metal capturing the modeled detail. Patinated surfaces and small differences from casting to casting give these pieces their individual character.
