Haws English watering cans are know for their classic artistic style, beautiful balance and controlled water flow.
The ultimate professional's choice, this long-reach metal watering can is hot dipped galvanized (HDG) for a lifetime's protection from corrosion. The long spout reaches deep into flowerbeds, maximizing water pressure to deliver a fine spray.
It comes with a non-drip brass rose and works with multiple interchangeable accessories, making it perfect for watering seeds, garden plants and flowerbeds. Presented in a beautiful box, it makes a fine gift.
HDG means 'Hot Dipped Galvanized', which involves submerging the steel watering can into a molten zinc bath. The molten zinc coats the watering can inside and out forming a protective seal. The can is then removed from the bath and hung to dry.
We attempt to clean off any excess zinc to offer a sweeter finish, however, there is a fine line where too much cleaning compromises the protective seal. So a rough or mottled galvanized finish is to be expected.
