Care & Ownership
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. For a mark, use a separate cloth lightly dampened with warm water and dry promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, abrasives and standing moisture. Use coasters and trivets, lift rather than slide objects and keep the wood away from direct sun, radiators and abrupt changes in humidity. The maker notes that substantial solid wood can move and develop cracks as it acclimates.

Twin brothers Steven and Jordan Neman grew up in Los Angeles and opened House of Leon in 2021 with an approach rooted in places rather than passing trends. The Ojai collection looks to a California valley; Milan provides another language of form and structure. Behind the wood furniture is a family-owned atelier where woodworking skills have passed through generations, working with woods sourced in the Mediterranean. That combination of regional observation and inherited making gives the pieces their character: familiar materials, deliberate proportions and details that feel connected to a place.
