Turkey Pewter Place Card Holder by Vagabond House
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A card slot sits just in front of the detailed tail fan on this pewter turkey place card holder. The compact bird gives a guest's name or a dish label a seasonal setting, standing one and three-quarter inches high.
“Setting out the names gives me time to consider who will enjoy sitting together. That is part of hosting, not simply a way to organize the chairs.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage
Vagabond House began in 1986 by turning antique silver tableware into jewelry and table accents. The Haas and Hardy families focused the company on tableware after acquiring it in 2004, and three generations now contribute to the Sierra Madre, California business. Its designers look closely at nature, old architecture and antiques, then work with carvers, artisans and fabricators to bring those ideas into useful objects. In the pewter work, details such as the veins of an oak leaf or the textured skin of a pear are carved and polished into the form. That attention to small, recognizable things gives the pieces much of their character at the table.
