Turkey Pewter Salt and Pepper Shakers by Vagabond House - Set of 2
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Tail fans and layered wings give this pair of pewter turkey shakers their detailed forms. The compact birds bring a harvest reference to the salt and pepper, placing a useful seasonal detail close to the diners.
“For Thanksgiving, I set out seasonings before the platters arrive. The turkeys can mark the occasion while the center of the table stays available for the meal.”

Care & Ownership
Empty before washing. Gently hand wash with mild dish soap, warm water and a soft cloth, then rinse and dry immediately. Let the interiors, dispensing holes and refill closures dry completely before adding dry salt or pepper. Do not soak or use abrasives, silver polish or the dishwasher. Handle sculpted stems, tails and other fine details gently.
Maker / Heritage
Vagabond House began in 1986 by turning antique silver tableware into jewelry and table accents. The Haas and Hardy families focused the company on tableware after acquiring it in 2004, and three generations now contribute to the Sierra Madre, California business. Its designers look closely at nature, old architecture and antiques, then work with carvers, artisans and fabricators to bring those ideas into useful objects. In the pewter work, details such as the veins of an oak leaf or the textured skin of a pear are carved and polished into the form. That attention to small, recognizable things gives the pieces much of their character at the table.
