Victorian London Fog Tea by Harney & Sons
Vanilla, bergamot and lavender lend this black-and-oolong tea blend the character of a London Fog. Its full body stands up to a little steamed milk, while the Historic Royal Palaces tin brings a decorative detail to the tea tray. A separate London gift option pairs two blends with a tea towel.
“For a London Fog, I want the lavender and bergamot to remain distinct beneath the steamed milk; the tea needs a full brew first.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

CARE & OWNERSHIP
Store the tea tightly closed in a cool, dry cupboard, away from sunlight, heat and strong-smelling foods. Brew Victorian London Fog at 212°F for 5 minutes, using one sachet per 12 fl. oz. of water. In A Taste of London Gift, Tower of London needs the same temperature for 4–5 minutes. Launder the tea towel according to its sewn care label and dry fully before folding.
MAKER / HERITAGE
A good tea collection offers both dependable favorites and the pleasure of discovery. Founded by John Harney in 1983, Harney & Sons brings three generations of family involvement to that idea. Tea buyer and blender Mike Harney works with producers across the major tea-growing regions; the family’s range moves from distinctive origins to imaginative flavored blends. Signature sachets bring that knowledge to an easy daily ritual, while thoughtful tins and gifts make tea as inviting to give as it is to serve.
