Vida Amelia White Melamine Cake Stand by Beatriz Ball
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A broad scalloped top and low pedestal give the Amelia cake stand its quietly decorative outline. White melamine offers a practical 14-inch serving surface for cake, pastries or small savory pieces, with a 3.75-inch rise that remains comfortable on a dining table. The form is intended for indoor and outdoor entertaining.
“I like the lower rise when a stand is part of the dining table itself. It gives the cake a proper place while leaving the conversation, flowers and other serving pieces comfortably in view.”

Care & Ownership
Wash on the top rack of the dishwasher, or by hand with mild detergent and a soft sponge. Presoak dried food in warm water so it lifts without hard scrubbing; avoid abrasive pads and cleaners. Do not use in an oven or microwave. Dry before stacking, and place pieces gently together to protect the modeled rims.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
The Vida collection carries that attention to serving shapes into melamine, with sculptural rims and generous forms made for relaxed meals indoors and out.
