Vida Amelia White Melamine Serving Bowl by Beatriz Ball - Large
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The large Amelia bowl offers a broad 15-inch white serving space with a softly curving rim. Its four-inch melamine body is suited to a generous salad, pasta or fruit for sharing indoors and outside. The neutral color allows the form and the food to supply the interest, joining both plain and patterned tableware.
“I like a large white bowl when the meal itself has wonderful color. Keeping the serving loose and the surrounding plates simple allows Amelia's outline and the ingredients to be appreciated together.”

Care & Ownership
Wash on the top rack of the dishwasher, or by hand with mild detergent and a soft sponge. Presoak dried food in warm water so it lifts without hard scrubbing; avoid abrasive pads and cleaners. Do not use in an oven or microwave. Dry before stacking, and place pieces gently together to protect the modeled rims.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
The Vida collection carries that attention to serving shapes into melamine, with sculptural rims and generous forms made for relaxed meals indoors and out.
