Vida Bamboo Stainless Steel Cheese Utensils with Natural Handles by Beatriz Ball - Set of 4
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Real bamboo handles distinguish this four-piece cheese set from the bamboo-pattern melamine in the wider Vida collection. Three cheese knives and a cocktail fork are made with silver-colored 18-8 stainless steel, giving a cheese board useful tools with a natural, tactile grip. The set comes in the maker's branded gift box.
“Each cheese should have a clear utensil of its own, particularly when one is soft or strongly flavored. That small distinction matters to me more than an elaborate board, and this set makes it easy to arrange.”

Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
Vida’s real-bamboo-handled utensils are made exclusively for Beatriz Ball. Their appeal is practical as well as decorative: familiar serving tools gain the warm, natural character of bamboo.
