Vida Bamboo White and Natural Melamine Guest Towel Holder by Beatriz Ball
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A rectangular white center and natural-colored bamboo rim give this Vida guest towel holder a fresh, decorative outline. Made in melamine, it belongs to the collection developed with illustrator August Wren. The ten-by-6.5-inch footprint gives folded guest towels a defined place beside a basin, keeping the stack distinct from the surrounding bottles and accessories.
“In a guest bathroom, I want the useful things to be immediately understandable. A neat stack of fresh towels makes a gracious invitation here, without the need for another little sign or instruction.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
For Vida Bamboo, Ball collaborated with illustrator August Wren, translating the familiar rhythm of bamboo canes into a lighthearted border for everyday melamine.
