Vida Bloom White Melamine Round Serving Platter by Beatriz Ball - Large
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A broad round serving area meets Bloom's rippling, petal-like border in white melamine. The large platter comes from Beatriz Ball's collaboration with Louisiana ceramicist Gretchen Murchison, making floral form a functional part of serving. Its 16.5-inch width suits food arranged for sharing from several sides, indoors or outside.
“A round platter can make a generous serving feel wonderfully direct. I would keep the arrangement loose, allowing Bloom's petal-like edge to remain a visible part of the table.”

Care & Ownership
Wash on the top rack of the dishwasher, or by hand with mild detergent and a soft sponge. Presoak dried food in warm water so it lifts without hard scrubbing; avoid abrasive pads and cleaners. Do not use in an oven or microwave. Dry before stacking, and place pieces gently together to protect the modeled rims.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
Bloom grew from Ball’s collaboration with Louisiana ceramicist Gretchen Murchison. Its rippling, petal-like outlines bring the movement of a ceramic form to practical serving pieces.
