Vida Havana Carola White Melamine Serving Bowl by Beatriz Ball - Extra Large
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The extra-large Havana Carola bowl brings flowing curves to a generous white melamine serving form. Intended for salads, pasta, fruit and shared dishes indoors or outside, its soft, irregular rim provides the decoration. The bright white surface can join other sculptural serving pieces or stand alone on a kitchen island.
“I like a large serving bowl to look generous even when the contents are simple. With Carola, a loose arrangement of fruit or salad allows the curved rim to remain visible and gives the food a little welcome breathing room.”

Care & Ownership
Wash on the top rack of the dishwasher, or by hand with mild detergent and a soft sponge. Presoak dried food in warm water so it lifts without hard scrubbing; avoid abrasive pads and cleaners. Do not use in an oven or microwave. Dry before stacking, and place pieces gently together to protect the modeled rims.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
The Vida collection carries that attention to serving shapes into melamine, with sculptural rims and generous forms made for relaxed meals indoors and out.
