The six-inch footprint contains a small stack of beverage napkins without the scale of a full serving tray. Care & Ownership
Handwash only with mild detergent, lukewarm water and a soft sponge, then dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive pads, scouring powders and solvent cleaners. Remove the paper napkins or guest towels before cleaning, and replace them only when the holder is completely dry.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
