Vintage Orlando Polished Metal Serving Bowl by Beatriz Ball - Large
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A broad 14-inch opening gives the large Orlando bowl room for a generous salad, fruit or a shared dish. Fluted aluminum-alloy sides create a repeating pattern of light across the silver-colored surface. Its 4.5-inch height is substantial enough for serving while keeping the contents visible above the table.
“A good everyday bowl should still look considered when the meal is simple. Orlando's fluting gives me that interest in the shape itself, leaving the food free of elaborate presentation.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Handwash with gentle detergent and a soft sponge, then towel-dry immediately to prevent water spots. Do not leave in standing water or use for prolonged food storage. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and cutting directly on the surface. No routine silver polishing is needed; store clean and dry.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
