Vintage Swirl Polished Metal Oval Serving Tray by Beatriz Ball
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Sweeping lines give the Vintage Swirl tray movement across its broad oval form. The hand-finished aluminum alloy reflects a serving of appetizers, desserts or a small group of drinks. At 20 inches long, it offers a substantial serving surface that can also organize bar pieces on a sideboard between occasions.
“The flowing rim is what draws me to this tray. Leaving a little visible metal around the food makes its outline part of the serving, rather than hiding the very detail that gives it character.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Handwash with gentle detergent and a soft sponge, then towel-dry immediately to prevent water spots. Do not leave in standing water or use for prolonged food storage. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and cutting directly on the surface. No routine silver polishing is needed; store clean and dry. Do not use in an oven or microwave.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
