Vintage Vienna Polished Metal Pedestal Punch and Centerpiece Bowl by Beatriz Ball
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The Vintage Vienna centerpiece bowl combines an oval serving form with fluting and a flared pedestal base. Hand-polished aluminum alloy gives it a silver-colored surface, while its generous proportions suit punch, a fruit arrangement or ice around bottles. The raised shape supplies height without requiring a separate stand beneath the bowl.
“I decide on this bowl's purpose before arranging everything around it. Punch needs an easy approach for the ladle; fruit can be looser, following the oval shape and leaving the fluted sides clearly in view.”

Care & Ownership
Handwash with gentle detergent and a soft sponge, then towel-dry immediately to prevent water spots. Do not leave in standing water or use for prolonged food storage. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and cutting directly on the surface. No routine silver polishing is needed; store clean and dry.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
