Walnut and Leather Backgammon Set by House of Leon
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Walnut, leather and marbled resin playing pieces give this backgammon set a tactile presence before the first move. The hinged board closes into a compact case, making it a considered game to keep near a comfortable table and return to when there is time to play.
“I would keep this where two people can sit comfortably and leave an unfinished game undisturbed; the pleasure is having time to return to it.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Dust the closed board with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe resin playing pieces gently with a separate, barely damp cloth and dry them before putting them away. Blot spills promptly and keep water, oils, polish and solvent cleaners off the leather and walnut. Store the pieces before closing the board and keep it away from direct sun and heat.
Maker / Heritage
Twin brothers Steven and Jordan Neman grew up in Los Angeles and opened House of Leon in 2021 with an approach rooted in places rather than passing trends. The Ojai collection looks to a California valley; Milan provides another language of form and structure. Behind the wood furniture is a family-owned atelier where woodworking skills have passed through generations, working with woods sourced in the Mediterranean. That combination of regional observation and inherited making gives the pieces their character: familiar materials, deliberate proportions and details that feel connected to a place. The collections are designed to relate to one another while leaving room for a home’s own history.
