Aquarelle Pink Blue and Green Glass Champagne Flutes by Beatriz Ball - Set of 4
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The Aquarelle flute combines pink, blue and green glass with fluting and jewel-like details. Its stemmed form brings a playful interpretation to a champagne glass, with a ten-fluid-ounce capacity. Four matching artisan-made pieces add color to a toast or a small drinks service.
“I like a celebratory glass that still has room around it. A modest flower arrangement and a clear place for each flute let the colored sections be seen without crowding a small table.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
Aquarelle takes its cue from watercolor tints, combining fluting and jewel-like details with contrasting colors. The glasses are made by artisans one at a time for a table with a little playfulness.
