Bee Pressed Glass Ice Cream Cups by La Rochère - Set of 6

A shallow bowl on a small foot gives the Bee ice cream cup its inviting open shape. Made in France, the clear pressed glass shows fruit, sorbet or ice cream beneath raised bee decoration, making a simple dessert easy to appreciate.

“A shallow dessert cup lets a spoon reach the edges easily, which matters to me as much as the decoration. I would keep a fruit garnish small and within comfortable reach.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage

La Rochère has worked glass in the Haute-Saône region of France since 1475. In its pressed-glass collections, a two-part mold forms the relief patterns and leaves the fine seam that is part of their recognizable character. The pieces cool gradually in an annealing oven before being inspected by hand for clarity, balance and consistency. That combination of a long-established glassworks and a practical approach to manufacture gives its tableware a particular appeal: decoration formed into the object itself, designed to take part in daily meals rather than remain behind a cabinet door.
