Blueberry Stoneware Tea and Coffee Service by Vagabond House - Creamer and Sugar Set

Blueberry fruit and branching pewter details enliven this white stoneware creamer and sugar service. A pitcher, covered sugar bowl and spoon sit on a decorative tray, bringing the pieces needed for sweetening and lightening tea or coffee into one arrangement.

“The blueberry branches suggest the simplest color connection to me: one blue napkin. There is no need to repeat the fruit on every piece around it.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage

Vagabond House began in 1986 by turning antique silver tableware into jewelry and table accents. The Haas and Hardy families focused the company on tableware after acquiring it in 2004, and three generations now contribute to the Sierra Madre, California business. Its designers look closely at nature, old architecture and antiques, then work with carvers, artisans and fabricators to bring those ideas into useful objects. In the pewter work, details such as the veins of an oak leaf or the textured skin of a pear are carved and polished into the form. That attention to small, recognizable things gives the pieces much of their character at the table.
