Chinese Zodiac Rooster Porcelain Round Box in Yellow and Gold by Vista Alegre
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A yellow lid makes the gold rooster on this Chinese Zodiac porcelain box a lively decorative detail. The round covered form balances its bright ground with a fine botanical pattern.
“I would place this little yellow box where daylight can reveal the drawing, while keeping it out of direct sun.”

Maker / Heritage
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings a living decorative tradition to the table. Its porcelain is glazed, fired and individually checked before decoration; the factory also maintains a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected artistic pieces. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron give that long history fresh expression, from finely drawn botanicals to architectural relief. It is this combination of technical care and imaginative decoration that gives the maker its distinctive range.
