Encanto Vintage Fluted Cream and White Enameled Oval Serving Tray with Handles by Beatriz Ball
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Fluting, sculptural handles and gold-tone accents give this oval Encanto tray a clear decorative outline. Cream-and-white enamel covers its food-safe aluminum-alloy serving surface, making it suitable for appetizers, desserts or a considered bar arrangement. Its elongated form can sit along a sideboard, with handles that are part of both the shape and the tray's practical use.
“Handles should remain useful when a tray is filled. I would leave the ends clear here, allowing the fluted form and cream finish to make the serving feel generous without making it awkward to carry.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
Encanto adds color to the cast-metal tradition: enamel and gold-tone details emphasize the curves and edges, making the form as much a part of the table as the food it holds.
